Katie is more than a trial lawyer; she is a leader who ensures every case receives meticulous attention. Her experience spans the full spectrum of litigation, including: 

• Trauma-Informed Approach: During law school, Katie became a certified domestic abuse and sexual assault advocate. She believes in a collaborative relationship with her clients that also educates her clients so they can make empowered decisions. 
• Broad Legal Expertise: Previous experience as a licensed insurance claims adjuster, as well as in Worker’s Compensation and Social Security disability claims, providing her with a holistic understanding of the challenges injured clients face.

Katie’s career began in the public sector as a Graduate Intern for the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office, where she assisted in prosecuting organized crime and narcotics rings, an experience that honed her courtroom instincts and trial preparation skills.

Professional Affiliations & Education

A graduate of Florida State University College of Law, Katie was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2012. She is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and has been recognized by The National Trial Attorneys as a “40 Under 40” honoree. In 2013 at her first court appearance, she won the Highest Nursing Home Neglect case in Rockdale County, Georgia according to Verdict Search’s Top Verdicts of 2013.
